Per Diem Paraeducator in Lancaster, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed for immediate opportunities supporting students in a school-based environment near Lancaster, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when necessary
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test per district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current background and fingerprint clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
