Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students as directed by the teaching staff
• Assist with classroom routines, learning activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Support academic, social, and behavioral development in alignment with IEPs and behavior plans
• Offer supervision and help with mobility or personal care needs as needed
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and fellow professionals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet school compliance, including current or obtainable clearances and TB test
• Physical ability for standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable nature

Preferred Experience:

• Background in education, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are valued, but not required
• Patient, team-oriented approach
