Per Diem | Daytime Hours | Work When You Want
Looking for a more structured and rewarding role in education?
Spindle is hiring Paraprofessionals to support students in school settings. Enjoy consistent daytime hours, flexible scheduling, and meaningful workwithout the unpredictability of evenings and cancellations.
This is a per diem position, giving you the freedom to pick up shifts that fit your schedule.
What Youll Do
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students in the classroom
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and instruction
- Support students with behavioral needs, routines, and transitions
- Help reinforce learning goals outlined in student education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and assist with basic data tracking as needed
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to work in a classroom environment (standing, walking, light lifting as needed)
- TB test (per district requirements)
- Willingness to obtain required school clearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children or in a school setting
- Background in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs
- Familiarity with IEPs or classroom support strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and adaptable attitude
