As a Paraprofessional supporting students 1:1, you will play a vital role in fostering academic, behavioral, and social growth in a structured school setting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff.
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation.
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable.
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or a minimum of 36 college credits.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Recent TB test in accordance with school requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Training in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required.
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented attitude.
