Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and help implement IEPs where required
• Support mobility, supervise activities, and attend to personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Pass a TB test as required by school policy
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with mobility or lifting when necessary
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before beginning work

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Skills supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (not required, but a plus)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative style
