Per Diem Paraprofessional in Jamestown, CA

As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will:

• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally in the classroom
• Provide focused 1:1 or small group assistance as directed by educators
• Facilitate smooth transitions and daily routines for students
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEP instructions
• Assist with supervisory duties, mobility needs, and personal care
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements for this school-based position:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current TB test as required by local standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Preparedness to complete and maintain all required clearances

Preferred background:

• Experience in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with autism, behavioral challenges, or special needs
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques a plus (not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
