What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and staff
• Help students adapt to daily routines, manage transitions, and engage in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as directed
• Assist with mobility, basic supervision, and personal care as needed
• Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning community

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years old
• Ability to complete TB testing as required by the district
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting tasks
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Exposure to supporting individuals with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols (helpful, but not mandatory)
• Strong reliability, patience, and collaborative approach
