In this school-based role, youll lend vital support to students both 1:1 and in small groups, promoting academic, behavioral, and social development. Youll follow teachers guidance, assist with daily routines and transitions, and help implement individualized support plans. Your efforts will contribute not just to academic growth but also to building a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every student.

What Youll Do:

• Provide personalized academic, behavioral, and social support to students
• Assist teachers and staff with classroom management and organization
• Support students through daily activities and transitions
• Follow and help implement behavior support plans and IEPs
• Attend to supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when needed
• Updated TB test (per district requirements)
• School clearances (current or willing to obtain)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (a plus, not mandatory)
• Patience, reliability, and a teamwork approach
