Instructional Aide Subs are needed for flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in school-based environments near Ione, CA. These roles are ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally in the classroom. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students, following teacher and school staff direction
• Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow student IEPs as applicable
• Support students mobility, safety, and personal care as needed
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test as required by district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift/assist students when necessary
• Clearances (background, fingerprinting) up to date or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience within schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training welcomed, but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
