School Paraprofessionals play an essential role in fostering supportive and inclusive environments for students. As a School Paraprofessional, youll provide direct assistance based on the needs of students and the guidance of educational staff, while working shifts that fit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support for students throughout the school day
• Assist with medical needs, daily routines, and classroom transitions
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (in line with district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Able to complete all school compliance clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work with children in school, behavioral health, special education, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience (helpful but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative work style

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
