Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support within classroom settings
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and personal care, as needed
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEP accommodations
• Supervise and support students safety and mobility throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive, respectful, and positive environment

Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One of the following: active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or 36 college credits
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test in line with district requirements
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances (or willing to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not mandatory)
