What Youll Do:

• Provide academic and behavioral support for students in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individual education programs (IEPs)
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning atmosphere

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One of: Active ParaPro certificate, Substitute Teaching certificate, or 36 college credits
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a TB test and background clearances (or willingness to obtain)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Experience:

• School, special education, behavioral health, or child care background
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism or behavioral needs
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience valued
• Patient, reliable, and teamwork-focused approach
