What Youll Do:

• Provide individualized support to students 1:1 or in small groups, as directed by school staff
• Assist students in classroom routines, transitions, and academic participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Help students with mobility, supervision, or personal care needs
• Contribute to creating a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
• Monitor student well-being and communicate relevant observations to school personnel

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to meet school compliance (e.g., TB test, clearances; willing to obtain if not current)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Helpful, but not required: CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative; team-focused
