Instructional Aides provide vital 1:1 and small-group support, working closely with educators to ensure students receive the individualized attention they need. This as-needed position offers you the ability to accept shifts when they fit your schedule, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet district compliance, including a recent TB test and required clearances (current, or willing to obtain before starting)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance when needed
• Experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting is preferred
• Previous support of students with special needs, autism, or behavioral/learning challenges is a plus
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are valued, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and committed to a team approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom environments
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance under teacher or staff direction
• Aid students with routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow behavioral support plans and IEPs
• Assist with student supervision, mobility, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe and inclusive school environment
