Responsibilities include:

• Assisting teachers and school staff in supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Providing 1:1 or small-group instructional support
• Helping with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Following behavior plans and IEPs as required
• Supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care for students when needed
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if necessary
• Willingness to complete required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT familiarity (not required, but valued)
• Reliable, patient, team-oriented approach
