In this impactful role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance to students as guided by teachers and school staff
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout their school day
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and encourage active participation
• Follow behavior support plans and IEP requirements as directed
• Help with mobility, supervision, and personal care where needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive setting for all learners

To be eligible, youll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (as determined by the district)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with occasional lifting
• All state/district clearances current or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred backgrounds include:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, but not required)
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
