Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in various classroom settings, both academically and socially
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teaching staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs under the guidance of educators
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required

School Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Required clearances must be current or obtained before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT qualification is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
