School Paraprofessional Substitute Opportunities Per Diem Shifts

What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers
• Support students with daily activities, routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test (per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with safe lifting if necessary
• Current, valid clearances or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative work style

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
