Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support within classroom environments
• Assist students individually or in small groups under teacher or staff guidance
• Help students with daily routines and support engagement in learning activities
• Follow behavior plans and IEPs where appropriate, supporting positive outcomes
• Contribute to supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to obtain a TB test (per district requirements)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting if necessary
• Willingness to secure all mandatory background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is a plus but not required
• Dependable, communicative, and patient with a positive, team-oriented approach
