Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Helendale, CA

Instructional Aide Substitute positions are available to support students one-on-one in a structured school environment near Helendale, CA. What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom settings
• Offer one-on-one or small-group assistance as directed by teachers or school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a TB test (as required by the district)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting or personal care
• Clearances must be current or able to be obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
