Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Assist teachers with 1:1 or small-group instruction and monitor classroom participation
• Guide students through daily routines, transitions, and tasks
• Implement behavioral support strategies and adhere to students IEPs as necessary
• Offer supervision, mobility, and, when needed, personal care support
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB test completed per school requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current background clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, childcare, or behavioral health roles
• Background supporting students with disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not mandatory)
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
