Per Diem Paraeducator in Helendale, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to support students in a dynamic, school-based environment. Position Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and support staff
• Help with daily routines, class transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEP guidelines where necessary
• Support student mobility, provide supervision, and assist with personal care tasks
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain them prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT practices is helpful, though not required
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
