Instructional Aides provide essential one-on-one and small-group support to students on school campuses, assisting classroom teachers and staff in fostering a nurturing, safe, and effective learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, social, and behavioral support in classroom and other school settings
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance as directed by educational staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and maintaining engagement
• Execute behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as directed
• Support mobility, supervision, andwith proper trainingpersonal care needs
• Uphold a welcoming, positive, and respectful learning environment for all students

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Recent or updated TB test in line with district protocols
• Ability to stand, walk, and, at times, assist with lifting
• Background clearances (current or able to secure prior to assignment)

Preferred Experience:

• Work in classroom, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral/communication challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong reliability, patience, and teamwork skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
