Instructional Aide substitutes are needed for per diem, school-based assignments near Hayward, CA. Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally under the direction of teachers and staff

• Help with daily routines, classroom transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as appropriate
• Help foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

To be eligible, you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test clearance per district guidelines
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• Background checks and clearances (current or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred candidates will have:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with disabilities, autism, or behavioral needs
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experiencehelpful but not required
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
