As an Instructional Aide substitute, youll partner closely with educators to help students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally. Whether working one-on-one or assisting in small groups, youll have an immediate impact in classrooms that value compassion, patience, and teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Supervise and support students throughout the school day, reinforcing positive behavior and classroom engagement
• Offer 1:1 or small-group instructional support at the direction of teaching staff
• Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and daily participation
• Implement IEP goals and behavior plans under school staff guidance
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs where necessary
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful setting that encourages student growth

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and physically assist as needed
• Willingness to complete all required background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in schools, child care, or supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with autism support, CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (not required)
• Reliable, flexible, and collaborative attitude
