Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Glendale, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide essential, hands-on support to students within a positive and structured school environment near Glendale, CA. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Assist students one-on-one or in small group settings as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in classroom activities
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students mobility, supervision, and, if needed, personal care
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or willing to obtain necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Additional certification such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is valued but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
