Per Diem Teacher Aide | Fresno, California

Instructional Aides are needed to serve as vital support in school classrooms through flexible, per diem assignments. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized support to students, both academically and behaviorally, under the direction of classroom teachers and school staff
• Working with students in 1:1 or small-group settings to reinforce learning and social skills
• Assisting with daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions
• Implementing behavior support strategies and following IEP guidelines as directed
• Supporting the mobility, supervision, and personal care needs of students
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

Required for school compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain as required by the district)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as necessary
• Must have up-to-date clearances or be open to obtaining them before starting

Preferred qualities:

• Prior experience in educational, childcare, special education, or behavioral health environments
• Experience supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT protocols is a plus
• Reliability, patience, and a strong, collaborative spirit
