Spindle is seeking dedicated School Paraprofessionals to provide vital 1:1 support to students within a structured school environment. This per diem, as-needed opportunity is perfect for compassionate professionals who take pride in directly impacting the lives of students. Shifts are scheduled according to school coverage requirements, offering the flexibility to work when it best fits your availability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized medical, behavioral, and social support to students within the classroom
• Assist students with daily routines, mobility, personal care, and participation in academic activities
• Follow teacher and school staff directions to ensure each student receives tailored assistance
• Support students transitions throughout the day and maintain attentive supervision
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment for all learners

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test, compliant with district requirements
• Physically able to stand, walk, and provide lifting assistance as needed
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or similar child-focused settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience welcomed, but not required
• Patient, reliable, and team-focused attitude
