As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll provide essential support to students, either individually or in small groups, helping them navigate academic, behavioral, and social challenges throughout the school day. What Youll Do:

• Assist students in classroom activities, providing 1:1 or group support following teacher direction
• Encourage participation, aid in transitions, and promote positive routines
• Implement strategies outlined in IEPs and behavior plans
• Support mobility, supervision, and attend to personal care needs
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to meet students' unique needs
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all learners

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to pass a TB test and required background clearances (current or willing to obtain)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented approach

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health
• Experience supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plus, but not required
