Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Fremont, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Offer 1:1 or small group assistance as directed by teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in class activities
• Implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom community

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a TB test (per school requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as required
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus
• Demonstrates reliability, patience, and teamwork
