Per Diem Paraeducator in Fremont, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed for immediate, flexible, per diem opportunities supporting students in a structured, school-based environment near Fremont, CA. As an Instructional Aide, youll play an integral part in students daily learning experiences, providing academic, behavioral, and social support. Shifts are available as needed, based on school coverage requirementsan excellent option for those seeking meaningful, flexible work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in classrooms, both individually and in small groups
• Assist with daily routines, transitions between activities, and encourage classroom engagement
• Follow and implement IEPs and behavior support plans as directed by school teams
• Offer mobility, supervision, and personal care support when needed
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• TB test completed according to district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting students if required
• Must have or be willing to obtain all necessary school clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is helpful but not required
• Reliability, patience, and collaboration skills
