Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students as guided by teachers and school staff
• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classrooms
• Facilitate daily routines, transitions, and inclusive classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans or IEPs when needed
• Offer mobility support, supervision, or personal care as appropriate
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment

Core Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting students when required
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting
• Recent TB test (per district requirements)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• Prior experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (helpful but not mandatory)
• Team-oriented, patient, reliable demeanor
