Per Diem Instructional Aide - Fremont, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to fill per diem roles in a dynamic, supportive, and flexible school environment. As an Instructional Aide, youll play a vital role in assisting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, making an immediate and meaningful difference every day. Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academic, behavioral, and social success within the classroom
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as outlined by teaching staff
• Assist with students daily routines, transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs, when necessary
• Monitor, supervise, and support the mobility and personal care needs of students
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test completion (per school requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Must have current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
