Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide supportive, flexible assistance to students in local school environments. As an Instructional Aide, youll play a vital role in the day-to-day classroom experience, helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially. Your work will involve direct student interactionin structured 1:1 or small-group settingswhile collaborating with teachers and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic tasks, behavioral goals, and social development within classroom settings.
• Provide personalized or small-group support as directed by educational staff.
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement.
• Implement individualized behavior and support plans, adhering to IEPs as required.
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when necessary.
• Maintain a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age.
• Able to meet school compliance requirements (TB test, background clearance).
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed.
• Ability to secure and maintain all necessary clearances.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT approaches (not required but valued).
• Reliability, patience, and a team-oriented attitude.
