Instructional Aide substitute opportunities are available on a per diem basis to provide vital support to students in a school environment near Firebaugh, CA. As an Instructional Aide sub, youll provide direct, hands-on support to students, either 1:1 or in small group settings, while collaborating closely with teachers and staff. Your impact will be felt as you help students build academic skills, navigate daily routines, and create a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

What Youll Do:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups as guided by school staff
• Help with daily routines, classroom participation, and activity transitions
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow IEPs when applicable
• Aid with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Promote a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to complete a TB test per district guidelines
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Willingness to provide or obtain necessary clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Background with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
