Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers and staff to provide academic and behavioral support.
• Offer personalized assistance to students during classroom activities and transitions.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans as directed.
• Assist with personal care, supervision, and mobility as needed.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.
• Follow school protocols to maintain a positive learning space for all students.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• TB test completed per school guidelines.
• Current school safety clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health environments.
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral concerns.
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT training (helpful but not required).
• Compassionate, flexible, and reliable team player.
