Per Diem Paraprofessional in Fairfield, CA

Instructional Aide subs are needed for flexible, school-based assignments supporting students in classroom environments. What You'll Do:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students, following guidance from teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and encouraging student participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Offer supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care support as needed
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning space for all students

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain or update all necessary TB and background clearances per district policies
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Work experience in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health settings
• Understanding of supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT preferred but not required
• Dependability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
