Instructional Aide Subs Needed School-Based | Flexible Opportunities

Spindle is seeking compassionate professionals to work as Instructional Aides, providing essential 1:1 student support in dynamic school environments. This flexible, per diem opportunity is perfect for those committed to making a positive impact in the classroom while enjoying adaptable scheduling. Assignments are available as needed, based on school coverage requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Deliver individualized or small-group assistance as directed by educators and school staff
• Assist students with routines, transitions, and full participation in daily classroom activities
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs as applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care when necessary
• Cultivate a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in accordance with school district standards
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• Current required clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (but not mandatory)
• Reliable, patient, and a strong collaborator
