What youll do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom environments
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance according to teacher and staff direction
• Help students with transitions, daily routines, and maintaining classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs to ensure each childs success
• Support student safety, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and nurturing learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain, per district guidelines)
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or readiness to complete before starting

Preferred background:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Support for students with special needs, autism, or challenging behaviors
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (helpful but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude
