Instructional Aide Substitute opportunities are available for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. In this per diem, school-based role, youll provide valuable support to students, teachers, and staff on an as-needed basis, allowing for maximum flexibility to fit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support to students under the direction of classroom staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans as applicable
• Support students mobility, supervision, and, when required, personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all
• Encourage positive interactions and help reinforce classroom expectations

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Recent TB test (per district/school requirements)
• All required clearances current or willing to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in K-12, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT strategies (a plus, but not mandatory)
• Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative attitude
