Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Everett, WA

Instructional Aide Substitute opportunities are available for compassionate, motivated individuals who are eager to make a genuine impact in local school communities. In this role, youll support students both academically and behaviorally across classroom settings, offering 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers. These assignments may include helping students participate in daily routines, transitions, implementing behavior support plans, and adhering to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when required. You may also assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure all students have the opportunity to flourish in a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Desired Skills & Background:

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
• Meet all school compliance requirements (TB test, clearances, etc.)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings is preferred
• Background supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges is a plus
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is advantageous but not mandatory
• Reliable, patient, and excels in a team setting
