Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance as directed by school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) when required
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs of students
• Foster a safe, respectful, inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test as needed by district guidelines
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• All required clearances, current or in process prior to start date

Preferred Experience:

• Work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Background with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices is an asset (but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
