Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Everett, WA

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students, supporting academic, social, and behavioral growth as directed by school staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement individual behavior support plans and follow IEPs where relevant
• Support students in mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• TB test per school requirements
• Able to obtain or maintain clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, child care, special education, or behavioral health setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Displays patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach
