Instructional Aide Subs Needed Flexible School-Based Opportunities

Take an active role in supporting students learning and growth as an Instructional Aide substitute. These per diem positions offer the flexibility to accept assignments as they fit your schedule, all while making a meaningful impact in a structured school environment. Youll provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, working alongside educators to foster a positive and inclusive classroom experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Offering academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Assisting individuals or small groups under the direction of teaching staff
• Helping students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom engagement
• Implementing behavior plans and following individualized education programs (IEPs) where needed
• Providing supervision, supporting mobility, and assisting with personal care
• Creating and maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment for all

Minimum requirements for compliance in a school setting:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (per district guidelines)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred candidates will bring:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus
• A reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
