Per Diem Instructional Aide in Everett, WA

As an on-call instructional aide, youll provide vital 1:1 and small-group support, working directly with teachers and school staff to ensure every student has the opportunity to learn and grow.

What Youll Do:

• Support students with academic tasks, helping to foster engagement and participation.
• Assist with routines, daily transitions, and classroom activities to create a positive and structured learning atmosphere.
• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance, as directed by teachers and staff.
• Implement behavior support plans and IEP accommodations under the guidance of certified personnel.
• Offer mobility, supervision, and personal care support as needed.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

What You Need:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Current TB test (as required by the district).
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting.
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (helpful but not required).
• Reliable, patient, and team-focused attitude.
