As an active participant in the school environment, you will support one or more students directly, fostering academic, behavioral, and social success in collaboration with teachers and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
  • Offer 1:1 and small-group assistance, tailored to student needs as directed
  • Guide students through daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and support IEPs where needed
  • Assist with mobility, personal care, and ensure continuous supervision
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning space for every student

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Completion of a TB test (per district guidelines)
  • Physically able to stand, walk, and provide assistance as needed
  • Current school compliance clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

  • Work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
  • Support experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is appreciated
  • Reliable and patient; works collaboratively and communicates well with teams
