Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support for students under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist students 1:1 and in small groups, adapting to their unique learning and behavioral needs
• Help facilitate smooth daily routines, classroom transitions, and foster engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as needed
• Aid with mobility, supervise students, and assist with personal care tasks
• Sustain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Completion of TB test (as required by the district)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Current clearance or willingness to obtain clearance before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Exposure to CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (preferred but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative work style
