Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by classroom teachers or school staff
• Support students daily routines, transitions, and active participation in activities
• Help implement behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test compliance as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• All required clearances current or willingness to obtain prior to assignment

Preferred Qualities

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training/experience (not required)
• Patient, reliable, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment
