Job Description
Instructional Aide Substitute positions are now available for compassionate individuals eager to support students in a dynamic school environment. These per diem, as-needed opportunities provide the flexibility to accept assignments based on your availability, making them ideal for those seeking meaningful work with a positive impact on children's academic and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer 1:1 or small group support to students, assisting with academic, behavioral, and social needs.
- Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and stay engaged in classroom activities.
- Implement behavioral support strategies and follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed.
- Supervise, support mobility, and assist with personal care when necessary.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to best support learners.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years old.
- Current TB test in accordance with school guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if required.
- Must be able to provide or obtain necessary school clearances prior to starting.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting.
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
