Instructional Aide Substitutes Needed Per Diem, Flexible School-Based Roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by classroom teachers or staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs when applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as per school district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• All required clearances must be current or obtained prior to start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with special needs students, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and a collaborative team player
